Spiritual Network Marketing
Jacques Fiset and Sophia Marcoux
When Jacques and Sophia first became involved in network marketing, they had absolutely no interest at all in the business— Sophia actually believed it was "unethical"— but they were passionately seeking an alternative to conventional medical care. Only two weeks before they got a phone call from the two people who first told them about USANA health products, Jacques woke up at 6 0'clock in the morning beside Sophia and she was (in Jacques' words) for all intents and purposes dead. They rushed to the hospital where doctors saved her life. Sophia had suffered an paralyzing epileptic seizure. Neither Jacques nor Sophia would recommend such a traumatic experience to anyone, but they look back on that dramatic event 10 years ago now with gratitude, defining it as powerfully positive and life-changing. Today the couple is approaching the number three position in USANA worldwide. They have 27,000 people in their organization and are members of USANA's elite "Million-Dollar Club." They see their business as teaching people that a very small investment and a commitment to being professional is all it takes to live the life everyone is looking for.

Their network marketing business is very much a spiritual enterprise for Sophia and Jacques. Both Sophia's parents were in the ministry and Jacques spent time as a pastor. Although it's not something they "push" on anyone, clearly the spiritual values of helping people, discernment, courage, contribution, sharing and service have played a major role in their tremendous success. And above all, is searching for wisdom.
